An interactive workshop that reviews major concerns about negotiation and consent before exploring further the specific concerns that could arise when negotiating for rope bondage. Participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences and concerns and will be guided through mock activities to help them explore the concepts.

In this discussion and hands-on workshop, we begin with a brief review of the role and responsibilities of DMs in general before exploring concerns specific to monitoring rope scenes in public spaces. Depending on available time and equipment, attendees will participate in hands-on mock scenarios to help reinforce concepts and skills.

A hands-on, full-day workshop that introduces the essential elements of risk-aware partial suspension. Major components include: specific advice for bottoms; assessing anchor points and creating suspension points; methods for attaching to the body and to ties; effective lifting, lowering, and locking-off; load, force, and levels; and tips for specific ties.
