Jan 10: Rope Bite – New Year, New Rope

It’s a new year! Maybe someone recently gave you the gift of rope, or maybe it’s just time to replace or add to your rope kit? At this Rope Bite, we’ll be looking at different kinds of rope (including nylon, hemp, and jute), the pros and cons of each, and recommended maintenance.

We’ll also discuss and demonstrate some ways to process new, raw jute rope. If you have some unprocessed jute, feel free to bring it. We may have time to treat a length or two at the club.

Jan 15: Rope + More

Acro, Rope + More from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at Fallout. Come practice rope or combine it with other skills like acro-yoga, lyra, and more!

Jan 24: Rope Bite – Skill Share

Rope Bite Skill Share is a time for local rope enthusiasts of all skill levels and styles of rope to come together to socialize, share what they know, seek help from others, and/or tie together in a shared space.

Jan 29: Rope Lab

Rope Lab is an advanced practice and skill share opportunity where experienced rope practitioners can come together to work with and learn from each other in a private space.

The Tail End of the Rope

Along with our regular events in January and February, we’ll be running another All Tied Up event on February 22nd. This is a great chance to meet local rope practitioners, see people tying together, and maybe even get tied up yourself! Save the date. More details soon.
