Tuesday, June 4th – 7:00pm – Rope Lab
Rope Lab is an advanced practice and skill share opportunity where experienced rope practitioners can come together to work with and learn from each other in a private space. There is no formal instruction, just time to work on skills on your own or to collaborate with peers. $5 suggested donation per person to help cover the cost of the space. Vetting is required. Need to be vetted? Please speak with an RVARope Board member at a Rope Bite event, or please message the RVARope fetlife account for instructions for vetting.
Thursday, June 13th – 6:00pm – Rope Bite: Leg Night
Come out for our usual Rope Bite Thursday night at Fallout. Leg Night station set (Futos, gunslingers, and gravity boots, exact ties still, tbd). New to rope? Rope Board members and other community members will be in attendance and are happy to share tips, tricks, and loaner rope for use during class to help you get started. Check Fetlife for details.
Monday, June 17th – 7:00pm – Queer/Femme Rope Skills Share (Formerly Named Female Rope Top Skill Share)
Queer/Femme Rope Skills Share is a place for LGBT+, including Trans and NonBinary community members, to come together to share rope skills and socialize. Open to tops, bottoms, and switches. Hosted at a private space. $5 suggested donation per person to help cover the cost of the space. Vetting is required. Need to be vetted? Thursday, June 27th – 6:00pm – Rope Bite: Open Tie / Skillshare / Rope 101
Come out and enjoy some dedicated time and space to practice rope! You can feel free to practice anything that interests you, including Leg Ties from our last Rope Bite. We will also have our usual “Rope 101” class this session of Open Tie. This event is designed for anyone who may be interested in rope, and wants some good, FREE information (and loaner rope for use during class) to get started! Check Fetlife for details.
The Tail End of the Rope
There have been a few changes recently to the RVA Rope Board leadership, but our values, policies and procedures, and dedication to our community remains the same! As always, we encourage anyone and everyone to please reach out to the RVARope board via our CONTACT page if you have any feedback, questions, concerns, ideas or suggestions.
