What we do …
Rope Bite
social meetup & skill share
Rope Bite is a social skill-share group and local chapter of Rope Bite International. Our purpose is to create a safe and welcoming place for those who are interested in rope bondage to explore, learn, practice, and share their collective knowledge about rope in a fun and non-judgmental environment. Come hang out, watch, meet others, and tie or be tied.
Rope Lab
advanced skill share and practice
Rope Lab is held in a private loft and provides a space for advanced practice and skill share where experienced rope practitioners can come together to work with and learn from each other. Please note that there is no formal instruction at Rope Lab nor are there official DMs.
Rope Study
workshops and classes
Rope Study partners with RVA Rope to offer topic-focused workshops and classes that follow a structured, progressive curriculum designed for both tops and bottoms ranging from beginner to advanced skill levels. Their purpose is to create a more informed and risk-aware rope community through in-person instruction and online support materials.
Rope + More
acro-shibari, self-tying, and more
Rope + More is an open skill share event for anyone interested in combining rope bondage with other, more-specific pursuits, including acro-yoga and similar skill sets (aerial, lyra, etc.) or self-tying. All experience levels are welcome, and attendees are free to participate in as many (or as few) different aspects as they’d like.
